Jakarta (Rifyu.com) – Prime Video today announced a new original series from Indonesia with the theme of teenagers coming of age entitled “A+” which will premiere exclusively on May 25.
Produced by Falcon Pictures and directed by Fajar Bustomi, the “A+” series follows five bright students who fight against a corrupt and manipulative education system.
According to Prime Video’s official broadcast, Friday, “A+” is an adaptation of a story broadcast on the very popular Wattpad platform with the same title by Ananda Putri. The series brings together rising starlets, such as Nurra Datau, Antonio Blanco Jr, Ziva Magnolya, Rey Bong, and Livy Renata, as genius and brave students who put their differences aside to come together to uncover the truth about their school.

Amidst fighting against the school system, each student in the “A+” series must relive old traumas and their family’s problems, while surviving the pressures of education. In the end, they discovered a new side of themselves.
“This series mixes a broken education system with a story of friendship and the courage of teenagers and turns it into drama coming-of-age intense,” said director Fajar Bustomi.
Prime Video Southeast Asia Director David Simonsen said that they are committed to presenting unique stories to audiences so they are excited to announce this series adaptation of Ananda Putri’s very popular Wattpad story.
“A+ carries the spirit of youth that will captivate the audience young-adult us, and we are thrilled to bring this popular story to life,” said David.
“A+” will air exclusively starting May 25 on Prime Video Indonesia and in more than 240 countries globally.
