Jakarta (Rifyu.com) – A drama of five goals marked Liverpool’s 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest in Week 32 of the Premier League at Anfield Stadium, Liverpool, Saturday.
In this match there was a goal chase between the two teams, but in the end Liverpool came out victorious thanks to a goal from Mohamed Salah, according to Premier League records.
Liverpool were able to take the lead first through Diogo Jota’s goals and Nottingham Forest had equalized twice thanks to Neco Williams and Morgan Gibbs-White.

This victory led Liverpool to 7th place in the Premier League standings with a score of 50 points from 31 matches, six points adrift of the top four.
On the other hand, Nottingham Forest is still stuck in 19th place in the standings with 27 points from 32 matches, one point away from the safety zone.
Liverpool dominated the game by recording 82 percent possession and releasing 18 kicks, six of which were on target.
Even so, in the first half the Reds failed to dismantle the defense line from Nottingham Forest so that the score remained as strong as 0-0 until halftime.

In the second half, Liverpool continued to take the initiative to attack and were able to take the lead in the 47th minute after Fabinho’s header was converted into a goal by Diogo Jota’s header so the score changed to 1-0.
Not long after, Nottingham Forest equalized after Neco Williams’ kick hit Andy Robertson’s leg, which in the end found Liverpool’s goal so the score changed to 1-1 in the 51st minute.
Liverpool responded again and took the lead again through a goal scored by Jota after taking advantage of Robertson’s free kick in the 55th minute so the score changed to 2-1.
Back behind, Nottingham did not give up and tried to find an equalizer. Efforts from The Forest finally paid off in the 67th minute.

Midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White was able to break through the Liverpool defense and then fired a shot that goalkeeper Alisson Becker couldn’t reach so the score changed to 2-2.
Just three minutes later, Liverpool took the lead again and the free kick became the key for Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
Trent Alexander-Arnold fired a free kick into the Nottingham penalty box, then the ball was met by Salah who fired a shot into Keylor Navas’ goal so the score changed to 3-2.
In the remaining time of the second half, Nottingham continued to try to find an equalizer, but until the long whistle sounded the score was 3-2 for Liverpool’s victory.
Furthermore, Liverpool will visit West Ham headquarters in Week 33 of the Premier League, Thursday (27/4), while Nottingham Forest will host Brighton and Hove Albion, on the same day.
