Jakarta (Rifyu.com) – The Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Menpan-RB) Abdullah Azwar Anas ordered the state civil servants (ASN), especially within the PAN-RB Ministry, to immediately focus on working to serve the community after undergoing the 2023 Eid holiday.
“We (ASN) must immediately focus on serving the community after this national holiday and joint leave,” said Anas, as quoted from a press release received in Jakarta, Wednesday.
He also said that the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1444 Hijriah should be a momentum for ASN to improve their performance in order to provide optimal, better public services and have a direct impact on society.
“Public services must be optimal, improve, and have a direct impact on society,” he said.
This was conveyed by Anas while chairing the first PAN-RB Ministry meeting after the Eid al-Fitr 1444 H holiday at the PAN-RB Ministry Office, Jakarta, Wednesday.
On the same occasion, he also greeted the employees who attended the meeting.
“Sorry to be born and inner heart, okay? The enthusiasm to work again, “said Anas.
Next, Anas discussed a number of strategic issues at the meeting, including preparing regulations related to lecturer functional positions. He conveyed that the PAN-RB Ministry would solicit input from representatives of professors, lecturers and campuses related to the structuring of lecturers’ functional positions.
“We will discuss and solicit input from representatives of professors, lecturers, and several campuses as follow-up rules for structuring the functional positions of lecturers which do have specific arrangements because they are ordered by law,” he said.
In addition, Anas also discussed efforts to accelerate the implementation of public service malls (MPP) in various regions.
“In May 2023, there will be an official addition of at least 13 MPPs, thereby increasing the current number of MPPs in 115 districts/cities. This year, there will be a total of 127 new MPPs throughout Indonesia. Most of them are outside Java,” said Anas.
He then reminded all levels of the PAN-RB Ministry to oversee the development of digital MPP implementation.
The existence of digital MPP, he continued, was aimed at perfecting data integration with the population database so that in the future residents would no longer need to fill in data repeatedly to apply for services carried out by the government because the data had been integrated.
“Hopefully it can help accelerate public services in various regions. Of course, we are grateful to district/city governments throughout Indonesia who continue to work to improve services for the community,” he said.
