Jakarta (Rifyu.com) – PT Jasa Marga stated that it supports the additional time for controlling freight traffic, which was extended to Friday, April 28, 2023, at 24.00 WIB.
“Jasa Marga is ready to support the additional time for regulating freight traffic, which originally ended on Wednesday, 26 April 2023, 08.00 WIB, extended to Friday, 28 April 2023, 24.00 WIB,” said Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head of Jasa Marga Lisye Octaviana in a press release received in Jakarta, Wednesday morning.
Freight traffic regulations will apply on toll roads as follows:
1. DKI Jakarta – Banten: Jakarta – Tangerang – Merak.
2. DKI Jakarta and West Java:
a) Jakarta – Bogor – Ciawi – Cigombong;
b) Cigombong – Cibadak (Functional);
c) Bekasi – Cawang – Kampung Melayu, and
d) Jakarta – Cikampek.
3. West Java:
a) Cikampek – Purwakarta – Padalarang – Cileunyi;
b) Cikampek – Palimanan – Kanci;
c) Jakarta – South Cikampek II (Functional)
d) Cileunyi – Cimalaka; And
e) Cimalaka – Dawuan (Functional);
4. West Java – Central Java: Kanci – Pejagan;
5. Central Java:
a) Pejagan – Pemalang – Batang – Semarang
b) Krapyak – Jatingaleh, (Semarang)
c) Jatingaleh – Srondol, (Semarang)
d) Jatingaleh – Muktiharjo, (Semarang)
e) Semarang – Solo – Ngawi
f) Semarang – Demak; And
g) Yogyakarta – Solo (Functional).
Furthermore, he said, arrangements for restrictions on goods transport vehicles will be continued in accordance with a Joint Decree between the Director General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation and the Kakorlantas Polri, which is valid from Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 00.00 WIB to Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 08.00 WIB, on toll road sections that have been stipulated in the previous SKB.

Previously the Director General of Land Transportation of the Ministry of Transportation and Kakorlantas Polri had signed SKB Number KP-DRJD 2617 of 2023 and SKB/49/IV/2023 dated April 25 2023 concerning Road Traffic Arrangements During the Return of Eid Transportation Year 2023/1444 H.
The SKB is an additional SKB that was issued on April 5, 2023 to add to traffic regulations on previously unspecified dates.
Arrangements are made in order to guarantee safety, security, order, smooth traffic, road transportation, optimizing the use and movement of traffic on national roads, including toll roads.
Traffic engineeringLisye explained that Jasa Marga recorded the realization of traffic returning to Greater Jakarta from the east (Trans Java and Bandung) on D+1 (24 April 2023) to D+2 (25 April 2023, 14.00 WIB) totaling 175 thousand vehicles.
According to him, with the realization that only reached 18 percent of the predicted return flow from the east of 984 thousand vehicles, there were still 82 percent of traffic that had not returned to Greater Jakarta or as many as 808 thousand vehicles.
If it is assumed that traffic that has not returned to Jabotabek will be distributed evenly until May 1 2023, then the volume of vehicles returning to Jabotabek from the east is estimated to reach 134 thousand vehicles per day.
“To serve the high volume of daily traffic, traffic engineering is required along with restrictions on freight vehicles to reduce congestion in the KM 66 to KM 48 segments of the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road by Volume per Capacity Ratio (VCR) below the agreed limit, which is below 0.8,” he explained.
Jasa Marga, he said, will support the addition of time provisions for implementing traffic engineering one way, contraflow, and odd-even scheduled for Wednesday, April 26 2023, to Friday, April 28 2023, every 08.00 WIB to 24.00 WIB at location points, including:
One way: KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll Gate to KM 72 Cikampek
Contraflow: KM 72 Cikampek to KM 47 West Karawang
Odd Even: KM 414 Kalikangkung Toll Gate to KM 72 Cikampek
Furthermore, said Lisye, the terms of time for the application of traffic engineering one way, contraflow, and odd-even will continue according to the SKB, which is scheduled to start Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 14.00 WIB until Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at 08.00 WIB.
“In the SKB it is stated that in the event of a sudden or situational change in traffic flow, the police can carry out operational management in the form of police officers’ discretion,” explained Lisye.
Jasa Marga urges people who are going to use the toll road to return to the city to ensure that the conditions of drivers and vehicles are in top condition, as well as ensuring that fuel is sufficient and the balance e-toll to avoid queuing at the toll gate, obey signs, and directions from officers when entering the Main Cikampek Toll Gate, the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road.
