Viu Holds Fan Meet Lee Je-Hoon, Attended by Thousands of Fans – Viu, a pan-regional OTT video streaming service from PCCW, held a fan meeting with famous Drakor star Lee Je-Hoon at Vacation: Le Je-Hoon Fan Meet in Jakarta yesterday (19/3/2023). The drama he is starring in and currently airing on Viu is Viu Original Taxi Driver 2. Based on the popular webtoon of the same name, Taxi Driver 2 is a drama about a mysterious taxi service that seeks revenge on behalf of victims who cannot get justice through the law.
This fan meet is a special opportunity for 1,800 fans who are looking forward to meeting Lee Je-Hoon in person.
Lee Je-Hoon immediately invited the fans to hysterics when he entered the stage at the Ballroom of the Pullman Hotel Pullman Jakarta Central Park, West Jakarta. With the style of a taxi driver, he provoked the screams of thousands of fans who had been waiting for his presence since about three hours before the event started.
“I really miss all of you. Let’s enjoy this moment together.” In a chat on stage with the show host Indra Herlambang, Je-Hoon admits he really likes Indonesian food, such as fried rice, fried noodles and rendang. He also likes to cook fried noodles.
“Anyone want to make me fried noodles?” he asked the fans and was met with spoiled screams echoing.
Je-Hoon admitted that he was amazed by the extraordinary response from fans in Indonesia. For him, this is a moment that will not be easily forgotten.
“I have planned this fan meeting since the pandemic was declared over, because I really want to meet all of you. I want to return the love you have given me through this fan meet,” he said.
Currently Je-Hoon is preparing to start the shooting process which will begin in early next month. He also takes advantage of this remaining time by doing activities he likes, such as eating delicious food and enjoying coffee with his friends. “I also like to eat desert. But I don’t like alcohol,” he said. The fans were again screaming and supporting the action of the star.
About Viu Original Taxi Driver 2, Je-Hoon admitted that he was quite burdened by the success of season 1 and tried to give his best for this new season.
“Season 1 does seem a bit dark with the atmosphere of introducing Rainbow Taxi. But in season 2, we will see dramas that are more exciting, as well as humorous,” he added.
Je-Hoon also leaked that in episode 9 there will be a special guest that his fans must watch. The presence of this character is a proposal from Je-Hoon to the production team with the role and character that he also proposed. “You have to watch this special episode,” he added.
At the end of the event, Je-hoon advised the fans, “Hopefully we can meet again soon and you can’t get sick. Stay healthy,” he added.
