Kostic’s goal won Juventus in the Derby d’Italia against Inter Milan – Rifyu.com

Jakarta (Rifyu.com) – Juventus came out victorious in the Derby d’Italia match against Inter Milan with a narrow score of 1-0 at the 27th Giornata Italian League which was held at the Guiseppe Meazza on Monday morning WIB.

The winning goal for Juventus was scored by Filip Kostic in the first half. This victory made the Old Lady ranked seventh in the standings with 41 points.

Meanwhile, Inter had to drop to third place with 50 points, according to the official Serie A website.

The game was quite tight at the start of the first half. Both teams struggled to dismantle their respective defenses.

Juventus managed to open the scoring in the 23rd minute. Receiving the ball from Adrien Rabiot, Kostic then fired a low left foot shot which broke into Andre Onana’s goal. Score became 1-0.

Juventus advantage lasted until halftime.

After halftime, Inter turned up the intensity of their game in search of an equaliser. However, they are still having trouble dismantling the Juventus defense.

Juventus could actually threaten the home team in the 59th minute through Manuel Locatteli’s long-range shot. Unfortunately, his kick was too weak and Onana caught easily.

The visitors again created opportunities in the 76th minute. The ball from Rabiot’s tug of bait was blocked by an Inter player, the ball rebounded and then controlled by Kostic in the penalty box before releasing a shot that still missed Onana’s goal.

A minute later, Chiesa’s cross could not be pushed over by Onana. Unfortunately Locatelli, who was in a free position, failed to reach the ball.

Juventus then played defensively in the final minutes to maintain their advantage. Inter Milan finally had to swallow defeat over Juventus at home.
