Jakarta (Rifyu.com) – Indonesian Army Chief of Staff (Kasad) Gen. Dudung Abdrucahman visited a TNI AD soldier who was injured in the attack by an armed criminal group (KKB) in Yahukimo, Papua, some time ago.
According to information received in Jakarta, Friday, the Kasad visited one of the wounded soldiers, namely the Dandim 1715/Yahukimo Lt. Col. Inf Johanis Victorianus Tethool who was being treated at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital, Jakarta, Thursday (16/3).
The Kasad came accompanied by the Chairman of Persit Kartika Chandra Kirana Rahma Dudung Abdurachman to see firsthand the condition of the Dandim 1715 Yahukimo who was shot in the left leg and left hand as a result of the attack.
Apart from that, Kasad also visited another victim of the attack, Sertu Robi Sohoka.
Kasad had a chance to talk with the doctor who handled the Dandim 1715 Yahukimo and Sertu Robi Sojoka, who stated that their condition was gradually improving and they were still in intensive care at the Gatot Soebroto Army Hospital.
On the same occasion, Lt. Col. Tethool told the Kasad the chronology of the KKB shooting attack in Yahukimo against himself and his men.
The shooting incident occurred at Kilometer 4 Jalan Paradiso, Dekai District, Yahukimo, when the Dandim 1715/Yahukimo vehicle was passing by on Wednesday (1/3).
As a result of the attack, one TNI soldier died and four others were injured.
Apart from visiting the two soldiers, Kasad also visited Sertu Robi Sohoka’s wife who fell ill while waiting for her husband at the RSPAD and had to undergo treatment.
