The West Java Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) stated that the floods that occurred from Wednesday (22/3) evening to Thursday (23/3) morning had hit seven sub-districts in Bandung Regency.
West Java BPBD Public Relations Officer Hadi Rahmat Hardjasasmita in his written statement, Thursday, said the seven districts that were hit by the floods were Soreang District, Kutawaringin District, Bojongsoang District, Ibun District, Pameungpeuk District, Majalaya District and Baleendah District.
According to him, the floods severely damaged two houses and two moderately damaged houses in Soreang District, Bandung Regency
Meanwhile, roads in Bojongsoang District, Ibun District, Pameungpeuk District, Majalaya District and Baleendah District were submerged with a height ranging from 10 cm to 70 cm.
Not only floods, landslides have also occurred in the Bandung Regency area, which was caused by heavy rains that have flushed the area since Wednesday (22/3) evening until this Thursday.

Meanwhile, the landslides occurred in RW 06, 13 and 17 in the Official Village of the Kertasari District; Kp Muara Pasir Kujang RW 8 Buninagara Village, Kutawaringin District; environment of RT 06/RW 8, Jelekong Village, Baleendah District.
Then in Kampung Legok Kuda RT 03 RW 01 Sukanagara Village, Soreang District; Kampung Pasir Batu RT 02 RW 13 Desa Karamat Mulya Soreang; as well as on Jalan Raya Soreang – Ciwidey; Cipicung Village Rt 02 RW 13 Sadu Village, Soreang District; RT 03 RW 12 Cipinang Village and RT 02 RW 04 Kampung Madur Sukamaju Village, Cimaung District.
